Spartanburg Disc Golf Courses to Try This Summer

Disc golf is one of the fastest-growing sports in the United States. Very little equipment is required, the discs are inexpensive, and they are easy to store. If you don’t know how to play, watch this excellent instructional video and then head to one of these disc golf courses near our Spartanburg apartments to get started!

Wofford College

With only nine holes, the beautiful course at Wofford College is great for beginners. Just play twice through if you want to make it an official 18 hole game. Although the college is private, the course is open to everyone. Parking is across from Gibbs Stadium.

USC Upstate

The 18-hole disc golf course at USC Upstate is flat and only lightly wooded, which makes it nice for beginners. Parking is available across the street from the Rampey Center.

The Pipeline

Located in Old Canaan Road Park, The Pipeline is the longest and most challenging of the courses featured here. There are 18 holes and five of them are over 400 feet long. The course is hilly and wooded, which adds to the difficulty. The park also has walking trails and outdoor fitness equipment for you to enjoy an afternoon under the sun.

These disc golf courses in Spartanburg are a fun way to enjoy the great outdoors. You’ll be hungry after your game, so order a delicious lunch from local sandwich shops. To take a look at our floor plans and community amenities, contact us.
